Learn about Indian art from the Crow Collection and the ancient Indian Ocean spice trade and its influence on the cuisine of our chef’s home state of Kerala as you enjoy this subtly spiced and delicious fare.

The program will focus on the history of entertaining, with speakers including several members who contributed to the encyclopedia Entertaining from Ancient Rome to the Super Bowl (Greenwood, 2008).
Francine Segan, editor of Entertaining, will introduce Entertaining and the CHNY members who contributed: Diana Pittet on the history of the cheese course; Ammini Ramachandran on Indian foods; and Ellen Schnepel on chocolate.
